Over 120,000 expected to attend 149th Dublin Horse Show

The 149th Dublin Horse Show is under way with more than 120,000 people expected to event between today and Sunday.

Some of the world's top-ranked show jumpers will compete at the RDS.

Appeal for 2,000 blood donations over next four weeks

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) has issued an appeal for an additional 2,000 blood donations over the next four weeks to help the national blood supply, as some blood groups have fallen to less than three days of stock.

Ukrainian dancer takes the lead in Irish dancing

Ukrainians in the Ukrainian Community Centre in Rathmines, Dublin are hopping, skipping, and jumping into a core element of Irish culture: Irish dancing.

The troupe are led by 17-year-old Ukrainian, Kristina Bondarenko, who came to Ireland last year with her mother, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
