About Me

I studied my undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Dublin City University, and then my postgraduate degree in Journalism Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I am now pursuing a career in journalism, with a particular interest in current affairs and news. I have spent the past few months working as an Intern on the Newsdesk of the Irish Independent, where I have covered stories across a local and national level. I have worked in radio and television broadcasting throughout my college experience, taking advantage of any opportunities which came my way. I hosted my own radio shows on DCUfm and presented our group radio project for my Masters on Flirtfm. I worked as a runner for Ireland's Got Talent, and then worked on two seasons of Ireland's Fittest Family. As a result of my experience in broadcasting, I was asked to direct our Masters final television broadcast.
